I'll be ok, I say.
And I smile.
And everything's ok.

I put on a smile
To distract from my eyes
And their tears.

Because I don't want you
To think I'm upset.
I'm fine. Or I will be.

Just give me some time,
And us some space,
And I'll be good as ever.

So keep looking at my smile,
And ignore the tears
